WS Arena provides for dynamic real-time control of your web service traffic beyond simple user-password account manipulation.

WS Arena allows you to perform crowd control.
It lets you execute focused broadcasting and enables you to funnel activity at the network level such that you may concentrate tasks and potentially achieve economies of scale in terms of pooling requests, routing, and inbound or outbound synchronizations.

Think of web services without WS Arena as fast food or a grocery store and web services with WS Arena as fine dining where services can be tailored to the customers as they walk through the door, where customers can be led to go where you need them to go, and where the menu can be dynamic as well as your communications with your patrons.

WS Arena aspires to be a Web Services Exchange Point with Extensible Points Of Presence (WS-EPEPOP)

An integration, communications, and interface brokering platform for extensible web service point of presence interconnects operating within or between enterprises.

WS Arena clients will include primarily web service publishers and subscribers.

The WS Arena platform will reside on one or more servers either singly, in a cluster, or in a grid environment and will use tcp/ip (primary) as well as other possible communications protocols to interact with clients.

WS Arena will increase SOA/EAI security and agility by eliminating the need for web service publishers and subscribers (consumers) to expose local bindings and by allowing them to maintain an abstract layer at the network level.

Depending on the physical network infrastructure involved, WS Arena will increase web service performance simply by decreasing network distance traveled per method execution. Additionally, web service performance will be enhanced through the use of persistent interface brokering at the point of presence with or without message pooling and/or multiplexing if clients exercise this feature.

WS Arena will distinguish itself from other SOA, business integration platforms by serving inter-enterprise industry level concerns allowing web services to inter operate within the same system space as well as through traditional network and Saas type configurations while maintaining the highest standards in terms of security, quality of service, and communications integrity with maximum flexibility and adaptability.
